Dalegarth House is a spacious Edwardian house in the village of Portinscale, just one mile from Keswick. Situated in one acre of grounds on a sunny elevated position the property commands superb views of Derwentwater and surrounding Lake District fells.

Offering a high standard of comfort, accommodation and service, Dalegarth House provides an ideal centre for walking and touring the Northern Lakes.

Guests have full use of the Lounge Bar where they can relax before or after their dinner and enjoy a drink, admiring the views over the well kept garden towards the lake (Derwentwater) and surrounding Lakeland fells.

For the comfort of all our guests, Dalegarth is totally non-smoking. The property has a private car park within the grounds. To maintain the quiet atmosphere of the house there is no late bar service.
